SEARCH ENGINEOPTIMIZATION (SEO)
 |
Our Los Angeles Search Engine Optimization Consulting Team will help
you reach your bottom line goals. Search engine optimization (SEO) is
the process of improving web pages so that they rank higher in search
engine listings for targeted keywords with the ultimate goal of
generating more revenue from the web site. There are many SEO
techniques utilized today, but the art of optimizing for organic
search placement is still developing every day. There are also two
schools of SEO: white hat and black hat. White hat SEOs are those
that play by the rules (actually guidelines provided by search
engines). Black hat SEOs are those that push the limit of ethics and
employ some questionable or prohibited techniques (according to the
guidelines). These black hat techniques are also commonly known as
spam. Today, most search engines can detect the ‘spamming’ methods
and block these websites from any listing at all! So, it is in your
best interest to stay ethical when optimizing your website. At Form10
Strategies, we take pride in our culture and history of unwavering
integrity. We will not only get your website placed in top positions
on major search engines, but we guarantee to keep the integrity of

Do you ever wonder how Google decides which listings to place at the top of the list? The answer is an algorithm called "PageRank."
PageRank is a patented method (an algorithm) to assign a numerical weighting to each element of a hyperlinked set of documents, such as the World Wide Web, with the purpose of "measuring" its relative importance within the set. The algorithm may be applied to any collection of entities with reciprocal quotations and references. The numerical weight that it assigns to any given element E is also called the PageRank of E and denoted by PR(E).
A PageRank results from a "ballot" among all the other pages on the World Wide Web about how important a page is. A hyperlink to a page counts as a vote of support. The PageRank of a page is defined recursively and depends on the number and PageRank metric of all pages that link to it ("incoming links"). A page that is linked to by many pages with high PageRank receives a high rank itself. If there are no links to a web page there is no support for that page.
But, remember that links alone don\'t determine your placement. You must have relevant content utilizing keywords appropriately, and you must be sure to include your keywords in your coding as titles, headings, alt tags, meta tags, and more! |
